PHLY Sports finally makes headlines with Director of Operations Eric “Coach” Camille being a total creep to an Eagles fan on Twitter

Ladies and gentleman, we have ourselves a quite the scandal in the world of Philadelphia sports media companies. Former 97.5 The Fanatic producer and now current director of operations for All City Media Philly outlet Phly Sports, Eric “Coach” Camille has jumped head first into boiling water after extremely inappropriate DMs were leaked onto Twitter over the weekend.

Up until this point, The Liberty Line has refrained from commenting on the new media outlet called PHLY Sports, presented by All City Media. We have received countless numbers of emails, comments, and DMs ask what we thought about the website and honestly, we didn’t feel much of anything. 

No emotions towards the company meant that we were simply not going to write about it. If a new media company wants to come in to the city and buy up all the talent that we already bulldozed three years ago to start a “new company” while our website and respective social media platforms continue to increase in followers, engagement, visitors in viewership, then there’s really no reason for us to dedicate time, right? 

Right…

That of course, changed yesterday when we stumbled across a series of DMs that were leaked from Eric “Coach” Camille interacting with a Philadelphia Eagles fan on Twitter.

The former 97.5 The Fanatic executive producer and current head of operations for PHLY Sports “randomly” slipped into the Twitter DMs on Friday night of a female Eagles fan offering free tickets to the Eagles game last Sunday against the Buffalo Bills.

Here’s how everything started between the Twitter account that goes by Spicy Jess (you’ll get the reference later) and Mr. Eric “Coach” Camille.

Claimed he could hook me up with eagles tickets (I assumed he was selling) really he made it up to try to coerce me into galavanting in the city with him (a strange man) at 11pm at night. Of course, the obvious question after the initial post is what the fuck was Eric “Coach” Camille saying to this woman in the DMs? Luckily for everyone who liked and replied asking that very question, Jess, being the badass woman (and Army Veteran) that she is, decided to expose this creep by posting the entire conversation and boy oh boy, it’s a doozy.

Okay. Obviously the conversation is completely inappropriate and honestly, downright disgusting.

Basically, we’re dealing with a predatory “bait and switch”. Camille thought he could tease the idea of Eagles tickets, just to flip the script and actually say that he’ll be producing a Flyers podcast, followed by a visit to the Ritz Carlton Lobby for “drinks and some munchies…apps.”

Side Note: Why the fuck did this dude say “munchies…apps”??

Camille then went on to talk about some bullshit about pretty girls and guys being scared to ask them out followed by some weird texts about SPICY and SLEEPY versions of Jess, all while wrapping it up with a “kiss emoji” a few more texts that were left unanswered before ultimately blocking this girl after she didn’t respond to his advances.

Nasty stuff, coach.

No word on what Camille’s response to all of this is. Of course, he has now deleted his Twitter account, which apparently happened early Tuesday morning. The folks at ALL SPORTS NETWORK, the company who again is behind the PHLY SPORTS brand, said they’re addressing this matter “internally” and added they don’t “condone this behavior whatsoever”.

It’s rather interesting that the biggest piece of content the PHLY Network has released to date comes at the hands of a behind-the-scenes operations guy, Eric “Coach” Camille and him being the worst kind of sexual deviant you could ever imagine.

I’m not sure if he deserves a promotion for actually making PHLY relevant enough to write about, or if they should can his ass and hire Jess, who clearly brought this topic to light. (joking, obviously)

In all seriousness, you simply cannot condone this type of behavior. Women deserve better and using your platform to violate their trust by dangling false promises of Eagles tickets is absolutely disgusting.

Don’t be surprised if you see a new partnership pop up between PHLY Sports and Jawn Morgan. It’s the perfect pairing for two outsiders who already annoy the shit out of everyone to come together and dig their own graves faster than they already have managed to do in a matter of months.
