‘Presidents’ from Harvard, MIT, and Penn put on a disaster-class in front of congress, scramble to walk back comments and issue hollow apologies

I am well aware that the majority of the readers here at The Liberty Line don’t come to the website to read about anything related to politics or our opinions in regards to what’s happening in the Middle East. 

Totally fine with me. I don’t even like writing about any of this nonsense in the first place. I will however, address certain topics that are so ridiculous that the people in question need to be held accountable, regardless of what is typically written on this website.

Plus, it has to do with the University of Pennsylvania so it’s actually Philly-relevant content.

Earlier this week, there was a congressional hearing involving the Committee on Education & the Workforce and “Holding Campus Leaders Accountable and Confronting Antisemitism”. 

A mouthful for sure, but basically congress was looking for answers about the protests happening at college campuses around America that have turned ugly and in some cases, called for violence and flat-out genocide of Jews. 

Save your bullshit Hamas, Palestine, Israel talking points. That’s not what we are talking about in this post. Let’s focus specifically on the question asked by Congresswoman Stefanik during the congressional hearing.

Does calling for the genocide of Jews violate [your university’s] code of conduct or rules regarding bullying or harassment?

Seems like a no brainer. The answer is obviously yes. When you’re the president of a school and someone asks you if students should be calling for the genocide of literally anyone, that type of behavior should be condemned immediately. 

We are talking about the ‘Presidents’ of Harvard, MIT, and Penn – three of the most prestigious universities in the entire world. What seemed like the easiest question ever to answer, the deans of Harvard, MIT, and University of Penn completely fucked up and couldn’t even mutter the word “yes” in response.

I mean seriously. Is that not the most disgusting yet fascinating video you have ever watched?

Again, we are taking about three prestigious, Ivy League Universities in the United States of America and not a single ‘President’ employed by those institutions would agree with Congresswoman Stefanik in saying that calling for the mass genocide of Jews (or really anyone) is a blatant violation of the school’s code of conduct or rules regarding bullying and harassment of other students. 

We are talking about college students in the United States of America chanting “intifada” and calling for the genocide of Jewish people. Of course there’s an obvious relation between the two but that’s wasn’t the question being asked by Congresswoman Stefanik.

Should universities condemn students who want to kill all Jews on campus? 

That’s the easiest “YES” ever.

What exactly is going on here? All three “Presidents” gave the same bullshit answer with smug, entitled looks on their faces, basically stating that saying such things is NOT a violation to any code of conduct and WOULD NOT apply until something actually happened.

That’s so fucking bizarre because obviously, “something” that would need to happen is in relation to GENOCIDE or at the very least, KILLING other human beings.

The most impressive result of this video is the fact that both Democrat and Republican party members are in agreement that this type of shit is disgusting and shouldn’t be accepted. Talk about an impressive feat in the year 2023. Anyone who manages to do that must have REALLY fucked up, right?

Unfortunately, I wasn’t completely shocked by the response from these three “leaders” and their refusal to condemn such acts. Why? Well, probably because colleges and universities in America have been an elevated cesspool for violence and hatred fueled by radical Liberalism ever since Donald Trump was elected president in 2016.

Let’s just call a spade a spade, shall we?

Don’t get it twisted (some of you will). That’s not even a political stance for either side. Right, Left, Middle, whatever. They all stink and because none of them have done anything to help put an end to the bullshit, it just continues to pile up and now after watching that video, it’s safe to say we’re reaching new levels that surpass any moral judgement for human decency.

U Penn’s President Liz Magill posted a video on the Penn official social media accounts. On Twitter specifically, the ability to comment on the post was disabled. Go figure.

This is probably the biggest fuck up of 2023 and happened in the final month of the year. What makes it even crazier is that it happened at the hands of the most respected academic institutions in the country. No apology video from any of the three will make up for the congressional hearing, even more so when it looks like you’re literally reading from a teleprompter.
