How the Eagles can win the NFC East, No. 2 Seed in the Playoffs…
While it may seem irrelevant at this point, the NFC East is still up for grabs heading into the final week of the regular season. On Sunday, January 7th the Eagles will head to MetLife Stadium to face the New York Giants. Meanwhile, the Dallas Cowboys will face off against the Washington Commanders.
After yesterday’s embarrassing loss to the Arizona Cardinals, the Eagles will need a win against the Giants AND a Dallas Cowboys loss if they want to win the NFC East for the second-straight season.Â
The Eagles, who punched their ticket to the playoffs weeks ago, were unable to beat the lowly Arizona Cardinals on Sunday, which resulted in completely losing control of the No. 2 seed in the NFC playoff picture.Â
Basically, with an Eagles win against the Giants and a Cowboys loss to the Commanders, the Eagles will take the No. 2 seed in the playoffs and secure home field advantage until at least the NFC Championship Game.

The Eagles are currently the No. 5 seed in the NFC Playoffs. Assuming they stay at No. 5, they would travel to face the winner of the NFC South. Right now, that would be the Tampa Bay Buccaneers however the New Orleans Saints are technically still alive.Â
