Jason Kelce cuts ‘WWE’ style promo ahead of Wild Card matchup against Tampa Bay Buccaneers

On the latest episode of the “New Heights” podcast, Eagles center Jason Kelce had the opportunity to reflect on the season and look ahead to the NFL playoffs.

While I’m sure Eagles fans are probably rolling their eyes at the idea of another player beating the same old drum, I think you’ll like this one.

Jason Kelce FIRED UP on New Heights Podcast

“It’s frustrating, it sucks. We’re not the team that we want to be righty now or have been. But you know what? At the end of the day it don’t fucking matter anymore. Like right now the playoffs are here. It’s time to fucking go. It’s time.”

“All you can do is, let’s just go out there, all we gotta do is put one game together at a time. Go out there put the best damn game film we put out there. Play as hard as you can for one game. And then worry about the next one if you get another opportunity. I’m looking forward to going out there with all of our guys next week.”

Look, I may be in the minority here, but I think it’s going to be different this week.

I know there are many issues with this Eagles team, and it seems none have been corrected. However, this is a do-or-die playoff game, and honestly, there’s a lot at stake for the future of this organization.

This Wildcard matchup with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers could be several Eagles players’ final games, such as Jason Kelce, Brandon Graham, and Fletcher Cox.

I wouldn’t rule out several players who could leave in free agency or other transactional moves. Then you get to Jalen Hurts and Nick Sirianni. Don’t you think those two are fed up with hearing all the outside noise?

Kelce was 100% correct in that message. Nothing matters now but winning. When you get to the playoffs, style points do not matter.

Remember how ugly that playoff game against the Atlanta Falcons in the divisional round in 2017 was? That game springboarded the Eagles into kicking the shit out of the Vikings in the NFC title game.

My point is that perhaps it takes just one win.
