Braves skipper and known liar Brian Snitker declined to provide examples about Phillies fans alleged treatment of his family ahead of Opening Day
Atlanta Braves skipper and known liar, Brian Snitker spoke with the media ahead of Opening Day yesterday and was asked about recent comments he made about Phillies fans treatment of his family at Citizens Bank Park last season.
Like clockwork, Snitker declined to comment any further about his lies from last week, saying that his wife is babysitting and his grandchildren are in school and wouldn’t be attending yesterdays game and continued by saying that they wouldn’t have attended ANY Opening Day game unless at was a home game for the Braves at Truist Park.
The media (nice work) pushed Snitker on his comments last week and asked for an example of how his wife and/or family felt unsafe at Citizens Bank Park and Snitker replied by saying that he wasn’t going to get into it and would rather focus on “today”.
Brian Snitker on comments about Phillies fans
“I’m not gonna get into all of that,” Snitker said in his pregame media availability. “Let’s talk about today.” [Phillies Nation]
Pretty odd response from Snitker here after he was running his mouth and chirping on Atlanta Sports Talk Radio saying that he refuses to allow his wife and kids attend any games at Citizens Bank Park moving forward because of how awful Phillies fans are to opposing teams, players, and families.
Brian Snitker Lying on Sports Talk Radio:
Of course, we all knew that Snitker’s comments were complete bullshit. Even if they were true, the obvious answer from Phillies fans should have simply been “good” and literally no one cares if Snitker’s family comes to any baseball game, let alone one in Philadelphia. Beyond that, if you believe a word that Snitker is saying then I have a beachfront property to sell you in Idaho. DM’s only.
So yeah…following yesterday’s comments, we should all thank Brian Snitker for basically confirming that he’s just making things up on Sports Talk Radio and that there was never anything that warranted a statement about Phillies fans being horrible people at Citizens Bank Park.
Just take a minute and search the internet for videos from Citizens Bank Park or really, any sporting event. There are millions of videos online showing fan interaction with players and other fans and I have literally never seen a single one featuring Brian Snitker’s family.
Again, no one has any idea who Brian Snitker’s wife and kids are, nor would they care to even address them while the Philadelphia Phillies were absolutely destroying the Atlanta Braves for the second straight season in the NLDS. We literally do not care.
The truth of the matter is, the Atlanta Braves and Brian Snitker are absolutely terrified of the Philadelphia Phillies and their fanbase.
The Fightins have embarrassed the Braves in back-to-back seasons and are primed to not only do it again in 2024, but also to win the NL East OUTRIGHT. Snitker was trying to motivate his baseball team but of course, that won’t work either.

Up Next for the Phillies:
Aaron Nola is set to take the mound today at 4:05 PM against Atlanta Braves Max Fried as the Phillies look to get in the win column for the first time this season.
Note – Jason Kelce and Fletcher Cox will throw out the first pitch today. Get there early!

Why not do an experiment and have some random people dress up in the opposing teams gear and see what really happens
