Watch: DJ Burns clowns Jared McCain on Instagram after NC State Upsets Duke

DJ Burns, the actual “star” of the men’s March Madness tournament this year, took to social media to mock Duke star Jared McCain after the upset win in the Elite Eight on Sunday.

Burns and NC State exploited Duke as they bullied the Blue Devils in the paint, en route to a 76-64 victory. After the game, Burns posted a clip on his Instagram story of his NC State teammates DJ Jorne hitting a three after faking out McCain. The video was clearly edited as it featured MCCain dancing into the clip.

Burns who is clearly making fun of McCain, who is known for a lot of things outside of basketball. One being his dancing videos on TikTok as well as the very controversial painted fingernails he’s been rocking for a few years.

Aside from getting clowned on social media, McCain more than held his own in this game however; scoring 32 points, snagging 6 rebounds and draining 5 threes.

This performance from the Duke star was overshadowed by the beloved DJ Burns, as he scored 29 points on 13/19 shooting in an upset victory. DJ Burns has become quite the attraction as he did enough to even impress Denver Nuggets superstar Nikola Jokic.
