WATCH: Mitchell Robinson gets away with a dirty flagrant foul in Sixers vs. Knicks Game 5

If it has yet to be clear that the officials have favored the New York Knicks in their first-round matchup against the Sixers, then I don’t know what to tell you. Look, I’m not blaming the referees for this entire series, but let’s be honest: They completely robbed Philly in game 2.

To add to that disaster, in the first half of game 5, the officials blundered another situation they took the time to review. If Joel Embiid had shoved a Knicks player like this, we all know it would have been a flagrant foul against the Sixers.

The look on Kelly Oubre’s face tells the whole story. It’s just laughable at this point how pathetic these referees are. Given how often the whistle is blown, the NBA regular season product is borderline unwatchable anymore. Meanwhile, in the playoffs, the referees magically let things go.

I’m honestly numb to all this anymore, and I’m just ready for the offseason as a Sixers fan. Their GM, Daryl Morey, ultimately failed the team, and I just knew in the back of my mind the “supporting cast” around Embiid and Tyrese Maxey was putrid.
