PR Move: We need a collective effort from Philadelphia sports athletes, celebrities, and companies to purchase 76ers secondary market Game 6 tickets to ensure that Thursday night is nothing but Sixers fans inside the Wells Fargo Center
The Philadelphia 76ers pulled off the impossible last night, defeating the New York Knicks 112-106 in overtime to force a Game 6 on Thursday night.
While the entire internet already ‘called game’ for the Knicks, Tyrese Maxey scored seven points in the final 25 seconds to send Game 5 to overtime before he and Joel Embiid extended the first round playoff series with a thrilling 112-106 overtime win.

Game 6: 9PM on Thursday Night in South Philadelphia
Because the first round series between the Indiana Pacers and Milwaukee Bucks is also heading to Game 6, the Sixers game will begin at 9PM on Thursday night – setting up a perfect opportunity for fans and the team to send this series back to New York for Game 7 on Saturday.
What we don’t want to happen, is New York Knicks fans “taking over” the Wells Fargo Center like we witnessed last Sunday during Game 4. Luckily, I have what I consider to be the easiest Public Relations move in the history of professional sports to prevent that from happening.
First, an apology to Dave (Lil Dicky) after this Tweet from TLL last night
Sorry Lil Dicky – I’m actually a huge fan and love your television show Dave. Emotions were running high and I was going NUTS on Twitter.
I will say, that Dave aka Lil Dicky should team up with people like Michael Rubin and other celebrities, companies, and athletes in this city who are fans of the Philadelphia 76ers and buy up all the tickets on the secondary market so Game 6 is nothing but Sixers fans.
Michael Rubin is worth $11 billion dollars and doesn’t really have the best reputation with Fanatics and his overall demeanor in the city of Philadelphia. Talk about the ultimate PR move. Just buy all the secondary tickets and give them away to 76ers fans outside of the Wells Fargo Center on Thursday night.

We need a collective effort from other Philadelphia sports athletes, celebrities, and companies to purchase all of the secondary market tickets to ensure that Thursday night’s Game 6 is nothing but Sixers fans inside the Wells Fargo Center.
76ers Fans PR Campaign:
- Michael Rubin
- Dawn Staley
- Lil Dicky
- M. Night Shyamalan
- Kevin Hart
- Meek Mill
- Lil Uzi Vert
- Comcast, any big Philadelphia company, you name it.
Hell, even Josh Harris and the Philadelphia 76ers ownership. This is the PERFECT time to stand with fans and make sure that the Wells Fargo Center on Thursday night is nothing but 76ers fans.
Whatever happens, someone definitely needs to find this guy and make sure that he has tickets for Thursday night. He attempted to fight the entire city of New York at Madison Square Garden.
