WATCH: Sixers fans protect Wilt Chamberlain statue from Knicks fans who aren’t familiar with success after winning Game 6
Say what you want about Philadelphia fans, but we all know if they were acting the way New York Knicks fans have this postseason, you’d never hear the end of it in the national media.
While I tip my cap to the Knicks for ending the Sixers season, I can’t get down with how their fans have acted.
From the disrespectful ‘f** Embiid’ chants, to this latest instance where they defaced the Wilt Chamberlain statue, these fans’ actions aren’t far off from what Philly fans have done and have been heavily scrutinized for.

As you saw in the video, Knicks fans had previously hung their jerseys on the statue during the series. So it was only a matter of time before New York fans did the same when they won the series at the Wells Fargo Center.
A special shoutout to Kyle Pagan of Crossing Broad for being a good sport while all this madness was taking place at our house.
