Disgusting Behavior: Knicks fans continue to pound the ‘Embiid Button’ for engagement on social media, posting incorrect information about Mitchell Robinson’s stress fracture
For reasons unclear, New York Knicks fans and their “Stan Accounts” on Twitter continue to talk about the Philadelphia 76ers and Joel Embiid.
Why? Good question.
Apparently they think Embiid is responsible for injuring Mitchell Robinson, who is done for the remainder of the playoffs after a “stress fracture” in his foot continues to aggravate the backup center.
Knicks Fans Continue to Hit the “Embiid Button” for Engagement
The best part about it, the “stress injury” is something that happens over an extended period of time. On top of that, when I first wrote about Mitchell Robinson wearing a boot on a different foot after it happensd, Knicks fans said I was “stupid” and “didn’t know ball” and “wasn’t a hooper” but of course, they were all wrong.
Now, the same Knicks fans that questioned my “ball intellect” are throwing hissy fits on social media about the same play that just last week, they said was NOT the play where Mitchell Robinson was hurt.
Quite the turncoats, eh?
Historical Context: Braindead Knicks fans won’t get it but the city of New York got DOMINATED by the British during the American Revolution and thousands of Continental Army members ended up being “turncoats” because they couldn’t bring themselves to fight back against the British.
Here in Philadelphia? We burned houses on the banks of the Delaware River to lure the British into the city and then absolutely destroyed them, in an ambush that saved the American dream in the process. You’re welcome.
Embarrassing Behavior from Knicks Fans
Anyways, you have this disgusting human named “Alex B” who runs a Twitter account called “Knicks Central” out there still talking about Embiid while the Knicks are in the second-round of the playoffs, facing the Indiana Pacers.
Why? Well, it’s pretty clear that the “Embiid Button” is the best source of engagement for Alex B because outside of that, his social presence matches his looks. Uninspiring. Not Athletic. Not a Hooper. Doesn’t Know Ball. Looks like a bag of spoiled milk.
You know, a typical Knicks fan.
In reality, Mitchell Robinson appeared in just 31 games this season for the New York Knicks. He had ankle surgery after getting injured way back in early December and didn’t even play until there were 10 games left in the regular season.
Point Being: Mitchell Robinson was hurt. He played hurt. Joel Embiid while being involved in a few questionable plays during the first-round of the NBA playoffs, was NOT the reason Mitchell Robinson is hurt.
