Digital portals in New York and Ireland get shut down due to ‘inappropriate’ behavior
We should’ve known this would be the outcome from the jump. The digital portals linking New York and Dublin, Ireland have been shut down after just a few days. I’m sure you can guess the reasoning behind it.
Almost immediately after the digital portals launched, both the Irish and the New Yorkers started throwing haymakers at each other via the live video chat. Ireland held up a picture of 9/11 for the lovely people of New York to see, while NY showed the Irish porn, their asses, and most recently, their tits.
This is what the Digital Portals were made for right here
Nobody on the Irish side looked away, so clearly this was a sight to behold. And honestly, this was the least offensive thing anyone did.
According to the people behind this project, Portals.org, they’re looking at technical solutions to mitigate the behavior from both sides. Unfortunately (or fortunately depending on how you view it), nothing these people do will stop New Yorkers from being New Yorkers and the Irish from being the Irish. They’re unapologetically scumbags. As a resident scumbag myself, I can’t help but respect their dedication to the cause.
Some things just aren’t for everyone. These portals — while they’re for a noble ideology — are not meant for Americans or the Irish.
