WATCH: Phillies No. 2 overall prospect Aidan Miller continues Single A dominance, crushes ninth inning grand slam against the Lakeland Flying Tigers
The Philadelphia Phillies’ No. 2 overall prospect and MLB No. 48 Aidan Miller continues to dominate Single A baseball.
Last night, Miller crushed a 95 mph fastball up in the zone 375 feet for a bottom of the ninth inning GRAND SLAM.
Aidan Miller Grand Slam
Miller guided the Clearwater Threshers (32-15) to a six-run rally in the ninth but ultimately lost the game 9-8 to the Lakeland Flying Tigers (31-16) on Wednesday night.
Miller went 2-3 in the loss with two runs scored, a double, grand slam, and 4 RBI.
On the season, Miller is batting .319 with a 1.006 OPS with five home runs, 25 RBI, 10 stolen bases, and 37 hits in 116 at-bats.
No secret that Aidan Miller appears to be a elite prospect for the Philadelphia Phillies. At the same time, I think everyone needs to pump the brakes on calling this kid up to any other level. Just sit back and enjoy the show.
While he’s definitely dominating at the Single A level, Miller has only played in 50 professional baseball games. There’s a ton of development needed and as the old saying goes…no prospect is untouchable.
