Next weekend, the Philadelphia Phillies will play the lowly New York Mets in London in a two-game regular-season series on June 8-9th.
Phillies London: Chase Utley, Bryce Harper, and Rob McElhenney
“I’d probably go to Rollins for that anyways” is an all-time line from Bryce Harper and of course, you have to shout out Chase Utley for the performance and the sole fact that he let that jab.
Major League Baseball is known for pretty bad advertising and marketing strategies surrounding their best events. Did you know that Ryan Howard was playing in the Hall of Fame game last weekend and crushed a home run while taking home the MVP?
Didn’t think so.

The MLB Field of Dreams Series or the Little League Series have notoriously been poorly marketed to baseball fans as well. That’s why it’s so refreshing to see a promotional video for the London Series that’s actually good.
The only critique would be the fact that Rob signing a red Wrexham hat with a red sharpie. For a “TV guy” that has multiple hit shows, this type of thing is unacceptable but we’ll give him a pass on this because Chase and Bryce were absolutely perfect.

Chase Utley, the UK Ambassador for Major League Baseball, has been on a big content kick lately promoting the London Series and has been featured in more than a few videos across social media over the past month.
