Playoff Atmosphere: Phillies fans ejected and launch phones into Oriole Park in electric rain delay and extra innings game
Friday night at Camden Yards proved to be more than just a June baseball game. It’s the standard for Philadelphia fans to travel to see their teams play but this Phillies crowd was different in Oriole Park.
A game in which featured an out call ending the game that was then reversed on the replay, followed by the 71-minute rain delay in extra innings. By the time play resumed, it was almost entirely all Philadelphia fans in the lower bowl of the ballpark.
The Phillies would go on to win this game due to Alec Bohm’s two-run double in the 11th inning, but it didn’t come without any other storylines that night.

Say what you want about Philly fans but this is the passion and energy that makes playing this team in October so scary.
