76ers fans have a field day with Jared McCain’s TikTok videos following NBA Draft

The Philadelphia 76ers are in a dark place right now. They’ve found themselves in the endless void of being in the middle, which is objectively the worst position you can be in as an NBA franchise.

It’s come to a point where, no matter what the 76ers do, they’re getting dragged for it on social media. During the NBA Draft Wednesday night, it was clear as day. The team selected Duke guard Jared McCain with the 16th overall pick. Almost immediately, fans took to Twitter to make fun of him for his countless TikTok videos.

I’ll just say it — I hate this type of shit. Hating TikTok people is easily my most boomer take and I acknowledge that it makes me look like a grumpy old man, but I can’t help it.

I’ve never understood what drives a man to make silly TikTok videos. It’s not funny, it’s not cool. It’s just cringy as hell and it makes me want to die every time I see it.

From what I’ve seen and heard about McCain, apparently he’s a great shooter. But sadly, his TikToks are more popular than his on-court game. If history is any indicator, that means he’s probably not going to be that good.
