WATCH: Seranthony Dominguez makes first appearance with Orioles, tells reporters he wants to see the Phillies back in the World Series

Last week, the Philadelphia Phillies dealt Seranthony Dominguez to the Baltimore Orioles along with Cristian Pache for left fielder Austin Hays.

In his first appearance with the Orioles, let’s just say Seranthony continued his struggles that we all witnessed this season with the Phillies. He threw 17 pitches, including one that sailed into the stands and through the netting behind home plate.

Dominguez did manage to get out of the inning unscathed, allowing two hits and striking out one. After the Orioles came back to tie the game against the Padres in the bottom of the eighth inning, Craig Kimbrel (shocker) took the mound in the ninth and allowed two hits and two earned runs, blowing the save for Baltimore in a 6-4 loss.

Following the game, Dominguez spoke to reporters and expressed his wish to see the Phillies back in the World Series this season.

Seranthony Dominguez is still rooting for the Phillies in Baltimore:

Dominguez hadn’t returned to form since the Phillies 2022 World Series run. Before getting dealt to Baltimore, he posted a 3-2 record with a 4.75 ERA and a 1.22 WHIP over 36 innings pitched with the Phillies, which ultimately made him expendable ahead of the trade deadline.

Tough to lose such a good dude in the clubhouse, but at least Phillies fans can sleep easy knowing that Seranthony is a quick trip down I-95 and still wishing that his former team makes it to the World Series.

Thanks for the memories, king
