Manhunt for Florida State Seminoles fan who made a bold statement on social media continues as college football fans are determined to hold him to his word
Here’s a cautionary tale for not only fans of the Florida State Seminoles but all of college football and sports fans in general who get a little too bold on social media.
A Florida State learned the hard way that the internet never forgets after he sent a tweet on X stating that he would eat dog poop out of a red solo cup (with a spoon) if the Seminoles lost to Boston College over the weekend.
Under the guise of username “@321nole on X,” this fan was so sure that FSU would take down Boston College that he made an insane promise that if FSU lost, he’d eat dog poop out of a red solo cup with a spoon and post the video for everyone to see.
His exact words? “If Florida State loses to BC this weekend, I will eat dog s–t out of a red solo cup with a spoon and post a video of me doing it. Book it!”
Yeah, you read that right.
Florida State Seminoles fan bold claim ahead of Boston College game:

Spoiler Alert: The Florida State Seminoles lost to Boston College 28-13.
Boston College didn’t just win—they absolutely crushed Florida State, 28-13.
This guy (obviously) removed himself across social media in effort to avoid his promise to eat dog shit out of a red solo cup.
Of course, the internet being the internet, people are now on a manhunt to track him down and hold him to his word and all things considered, they’re not interested in letting this one slide.
Even ESPN’s Scott Van Pelt and other sports reporters got in on the fun, giving him a playful call-out after the game.
Talk about adding insult to injury.
If there’s anyone else to blame for this fan’s misery, it’s Florida State Seminoles quarterback, DJ Uiagalelei. The guy had a rough day, finishing with 21 completions on 42 attempts, 275 yards, 1 touchdown, and 1 interception.
Not exactly the performance that inspires confidence.
Unsurprisingly, fans of the Florida State Seminoles didn’t go easy on Uiagalelei either. All in all, it was a rough weekend for Seminoles nation—especially for one unlucky fan who might now be hiding out somewhere far, far away from his phone.
This entire situation also sheds light on the fact that social media is simply not real.
This guy can say whatever he wants, go viral, and even have Scott Van Pelt on ESPN talking about him, only to just delete his entire online presence and go about his day like nothing ever happened.
