While there’s no immediate impact for the Philadelphia Phillies this season, the future is bright in the latest prospect rankings from MLB Pipeline, with the outfield prospects specifically ranking Top 10 in all of baseball.

The Phillies are tied for having the most depth in their Top 30 on this list, with nine outfielders in their rankings.
The leader of the crop would be Justin Crawford, who has put together a very impressive 2024 season in the minors, hitting .308 with a .792 OPS to go along with eight homers, 55 RBI, and 41 stolen bases across A+ and AA ball.
Crawford has played 31 games in Reading and has hit .323 with nine doubles, two home runs, and 20 RBI. Before that, he hit .301 with 14 doubles, four triples, six homers, and 35 RBI with the Phillies’ A+ affiliate.
The next outfielders are fresh out of the 2024 MLB Draft. Dante Nori and Griffin Burkholder both land in the Top 10, leaping over Gabriel Rincones Jr. and fellow 2024 draftee John Spikerman.

Important to note the outfield in the farm system because at the major league level, talent has been hard to come by. Sure, you have Nick Castellanos in right field but outside of that, Brandon Marsh and Johan Rojas – along with Weston Wilson, still have to make significant strides to be viewed as “everyday” players for the Phillies.
Not like any prospect is close. Justin Crawford will likely move to Triple A for the 2025 season and could get the call, but right now, the Phillies are working with what’s available.
