Philadelphia Eagles ink multi-year partnership with Jefferson Health, will feature sponsor patches on practice jerseys

The Philadelphia Eagles just inked a multi-year partnership with Jefferson Health, which I’m sure most are familiar with as one of the top names in healthcare.

As part of the deal, the Jefferson Health logo will be featured in patch form on all Eagles’ practice jerseys along with logo integration during press conferences and additional branding inside Lincoln Financial Field.

The Philadelphia Eagles and Jefferson Health, an industry leader in clinical and compassionate care, have announced a multi-year agreement that will designate the healthcare system as a Proud Partner of the Philadelphia Eagles. As part of the fully integrated deal, Jefferson Health will receive sponsorship rights as the Official Health System Partner of the Philadelphia Eagles. As part of that recognition, Jefferson Health will have the exclusive right to have its logo on the team’s practice jerseys. [JH]

As part of the partnership, fans will notice the Jefferson Health logo front and center on the Eagles’ home press conference backdrop along with exclusive game-presenting rights for a special cause: the Eagles’ Crucial Catch: Intercept Cancer game against the Cleveland Browns on October 13.

Side Note: The NFL’s Crucial Catch program focuses on cancer prevention and care, aligning with the mission of the Sidney Kimmel Comprehensive Cancer Center at Jefferson Health. Recognized by U.S. News & World Report as a top-tier cancer care facility, it’s designated as a Comprehensive Cancer Center by the National Cancer Institute for its excellence in cancer care, research, and preventive measures.

Much like every sponsorship announcement, the Eagles and J.H. want fans to know that t’s a long-term partnership between two Philly powerhouses and that they are working hard together in making a real impact on the community.

On game day, Jefferson Health will also have a major presence at Lincoln Financial Field. Look for their dedicated activation space at Pepsi Plaza, where fans can “get involved”. Beyond the stadium, branding will pop up on the Eagles’ digital, print, and social media platforms, as well as on radio ads during game broadcasts and preseason telecasts.

While all that is just lovely, it’s also likely a sign of things to come in terms of sponsorship patches on NFL jerseys and honestly, I was hoping that Independence Blue Cross would come in and get the Philadelphia Eagles under their sponsor-patch monopoly but it looks like the Birds are rolling with Jefferson Health.

Again, the patches in the NFL are only used on practice jerseys but anyone with half of a brain knows that the second game day jersey sponsors come around, the Eagles and every other NFL franchise will be foaming at the mouth to stitch whatever logo from the highest-bidder onto their jerseys.
