WATCH: Rhys Hoskins continues to terrorize the New York Mets, crushes GRAND SLAM in Brewers 8-4 win
Rhys Hoskins, a name Mets fans know all too well, lit a fire under the Milwaukee Brewers early in the game last night, absolutely crushing a grand slam in the first inning.
The Rhys Hoskins bomb not only tied Milwaukee’s franchise record for most grand slams in a season by a player (three) but also matched the team’s single-season mark of 10 slams.

The Brewers weren’t done there. Brice Turang added to the chaos, putting together a dynamic performance with three hits, three runs scored, and three stolen bases.
Turang’s big night also put him in an elite club, becoming just the fifth player in Brewers history to swipe 50 bases in a season.

Phillies Standings:
The Phillies have officially clinched the NL East, securing a first-round bye and home-field advantage in the NLDS. They hold an important tiebreaker over the Dodgers, which could come into play for overall playoff seeding in the National League.
However, they currently trail the Dodgers by two games for the No. 1 seed, with just two games remaining in the regular season. If the Phillies can close that gap, their tiebreaker advantage would give them home-field advantage throughout the NL playoffs.
Milwaukee Brewers: Clinched NL Central
The Brewers are officially locked into the NL’s No. 3 seed and will host the No. 6 NL seed in the Wild Card Series. Their position is set, meaning they will begin their postseason run at home against the lowest Wild Card team
New York Mets: Tied with ATL for 2nd Wild Card spot
The Mets hold a key tiebreaker over the D-backs, but the battle for a Wild Card spot against the Braves is still up in the air. Monday’s doubleheader in Atlanta could be the deciding factor in which team claims a playoff spot.
If the Mets, Braves, and D-backs end the season in a three-way tie for the final two Wild Card positions, both New York and Atlanta would make the playoffs, while Arizona would be eliminated due to losing the season series tiebreaker to both teams.
However, the seeding between the Mets and Braves remains in play. If the Mets sweep the doubleheader, they’ll win the season series and secure the No. 5 seed in a three-team tiebreaker scenario. Anything less, and the Braves will claim the better position.
