Temple took on UConn Saturday night up in Connecticut. The 1-4 Owls were on the brink of pulling off the upset, driving the ball down to UConn’s 1-yard line with just three seconds left to go. With one play left up their sleeve, the Owls pulled out ole reliable — the ‘Tush Push.’

What a disaster. A funny disaster, but a disaster nonetheless.

UConn returned the fumbled Tush Push all the way to the house, winning 29-20 in the process. This pointless touchdown did nothing but embarrass the Owls — it didn’t even help UConn cover the spread, which was set at -18 prior to kickoff.

A lot of bad juju going around Philadelphia right now. Eagles suck, Phillies down 0-1 to the Mets in the NLDS, and now this. Not sure how much more pain we can take.
