New York Mets NLCS Ticket Sales

Bad Omen: New York Mets believe the NLDS is over, place single-game NLCS tickets on sale ahead of Game 4

I would like to thank the New York Mets for being overly-confident in their chances to advance to the NLCS. This is the kind of energy the Phillies and our fanbase needs right now.

New York Mets are selling NLCS tickets with a 2-1 series lead in the NLDS

If there’s one thing that fuels a comeback, it’s disrespect and the Mets already acting like this series is over, selling NLCS tickets like they’ve already punched their ticket is textbook #LOLMets material.

I think everyone needs something outside of Ranger Suarez to provide a jolt of energy into the city of Philadelphia heading into an elimination Game 4 tonight.

Bad Timing: Every single flaw of the Philadelphia Phillies was on full display last night in Game 3 of the NLDS

The Phillies lineup is ice cold. No doubt about it.

Ranger Suarez for all things holy

The Philadelphia Phillies will turn to Ranger Suarez to save the 2024 MLB season

But now, just maybe, we have a cosmic reason to believe that the tides will turn. Selling NLCS tickets and showing up to postgame press conferences with a 2-1 series lead like the dork below reeks of the baseball gods preparing to strike down upon the New York Mets for their arrogance and I’m here for it.

Jess Winker is a tool.

New York Mets are selling NLCS tickets when the series isn’t over yet?

That’s basically asking whatever god you believe in to punish you. Trust me, I understand that the Mets love to play the underdog card when they are everything but that but this move feels more like they’re writing checks they might not be able to cash.

You can’t lean into the “scrappy” narrative and then start counting your chickens before they hatch, especially when your franchise has invented new ways to choke over the years.

So Phillies fans, hang your hats on this. If the Phillies pull off this comeback—and hey, stranger things have happened—you’ll know exactly why. The Mets brought it on themselves, and now we have yet another opportunity to have the last laugh.
