WATCH: Lou Williams Gives His Thoughts on the reporter who crossed the line and violated Joel Embiid
I am sure by now we are all aware of the idiotic reporter Marcus Hayes who thought it would be right to comment on Joel Embiid’s availability amid the death of his brother Arthur and tied that into Embiid being unprofessional and not being in shape. Well, former Sixer and professional bucket-getter Lou Williams shared his thoughts on the situation.
Lou Williams reacts to the Joel Embiid situation
"I played in Philly the first 7 years of my career… it gave me thick skin… When (a reporter) writes an article like that and you bring family into it, especially deceased family… you cross a line." – @TeamLou23

I couldn’t have said it better. When you bring up a player’s dead relative to make an argument it’s time you look yourself in the mirror and ask what kind of sick human being you are. It is no secret that Adam Silver and the NBA have had it out for Joel Embiid since the beginning of his career. But, it is another story when reporters start questioning this man’s work ethic and professionalism.
“When a reporter writes an article like that and you bring family into it, especially deceased family… you cross a line.” Lou Williams is right and it is time we value the opinions of former NBA players instead of rat reporters who have a hate agenda on our MVP center.
Absolutely insane. I have watched Joel Embiid sacrifice his body year in and year out for the Sixers to have a winning chance in the playoffs. This report was not only invasive but it was disrespectful in every way.
