Eagles Update: Sunday Night Football Uniform Combination, Phans of Philly Takeover in Santa Monica, Tailgate Details

The Philadelphia Eagles are in Los Angeles for a Sunday Night Football matchup against the Rams this week and The Liberty Line will be in attendance with Phans of Philly.

Speaking of Phans of Philly, if you’re out here, make sure you head over to the Santa Monica Pier (literally right outside of the hotel) for a group photo at 12 pm today.

This is the second year in a row we’re out in Santa Monica for the game with Phans of Philly. Last year, it was a complete takeover of SoFi Stadium and I fully expect Sunday Night to be the same result.

The Liberty Line is a perfect 5-0 when traveling with Phans of Philly over the past three years. On Sunday Night, we’ll look to extend our winning streak to a squeaky clean 6-0.

The Eagles season is all lining up to complete the vision of returning to New Orleans in early-February for the Super Bowl. It’s not hard to connect the dots, but I’ll do you a solid and outline what I’m talking about below.

Destiny: TLL and Phans of Philly Trends

  • 2022: Philadelphia Eagles beat the Arizona Cardinals. That season, they advanced to the Super Bowl, played in Arizona at State Farm Stadium.
  • 2023: Philadelphia Eagles beat the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. They ended their season with a loss in the NFC Wild Card, played at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa.
  • 2024: The Liberty Line went to New Orleans with Phans of Philly. The Super Bowl will be played in New Orleans at the Caesars Superdome

Phans of Philly: Los Angeles Trip – Flight & Stay

  • Dates: Depart Thursday morning, 11/21, and return Monday, 11/25.
  • Flights: Non-stop from PHL Airport with prime departure and arrival times.
  • Hotel: Staying at the newly-renovated Shore Hotel in Santa Monica. This place is perfectly positioned across the street from the beach and minutes from the Santa Monica Pier.
  • The Shore Hotel has been named TripAdvisor’s Top Hotel in the 2024 Best of the Best Awards, so you know it’s going to be top-notch. While the weather is looking to be in the low 70’s all weekend, the hotel’s new lobby bar, restaurant, and poolside area (complete with cabanas and live music) is going to be a blast regardless

Eagles Week 12 Uniform Combination on Sunday Night Football:

The Eagles are going classic for their Week 12 showdown against the Los Angeles Rams, rocking their iconic midnight green helmets paired with white jerseys and white pants. It’s the timeless road look that screams business and has become a staple for Philly in away games.

This combo brings a clean, sharp vibe to the field, contrasting nicely with whatever bold look the Rams roll out at SoFi Stadium. The Rams’ home threads typically feature blue and gold, so it should make for a visually striking matchup.

Tailgate Location: Hollywood Park Casino (Front Parking Lot)

  • Phans of Philly teamed up Bullseye Event Group for the tailgate. They are the host of the well known Players Tailgate at the Super Bowl every year, and are the official partner of over 10 NFL teams- including the LA Rams.
  • Bullseye hosts VIP tailgates in this space for every Rams game and Phans of Philly basically takes it all over with 400+ Eagles fans.
  • Top shelf open bar with a variety of food stations and TV’s to air the earlier games on Sunday. We’re awaiting the exact menu as we get closer to takeoff, but if it was anything like last year, it’s going to be ELITE.
  • This was one of our best tailgates ever last year. Held from 1:00 PM to 4:30 PM with the game at 5:25 PM. 

Remember: Whether you’re traveling with Phans of Philly or setting up your own arrangements, you can still join the tailgate party. I saw this come through my email from the Los Angeles Rams so if you are out here in L.A. and going to the game, make sure you stay in your seats at halftime because there’s going to be a performance that will rival the all-time great Super Bowl halftime shows.
