Report: Eagles add another weapon on offense to enhance run game
Sound the alarms: the Philadephia Eagles have signed a full-back in 2024.
The team announced on Tuesday that they’ve signed FB Khari Blasingame to the practice squad.

Khari Blasingame was signed to the practice squad.
I believe this is the first time the Eagles have a player with "FB" on the roster/practice squad during the season since 2012, when they had the Stanley Havili/Emil Igwenagu combination.
In a corresponding move, the Eagles have released WR John Ross.
Blasingame, 28, has played in 66 career games between the Titans and Bears, playing 687 offensive snaps and 860 special teams snaps.
The Eagles deployed LB Ben VanSumeren as their makeshift full-back before he was injured and lost for the season. Blasingame will likely fill in as lead blocker on certain run packages while serving on special teams.
The full-back position has essentially gone extinct in the NFL, but Philadelphia has made it an integral part of their league-leading rushing attack.
Blasingame has 11 rushing attempts for 32 yards and 13 receptions for 99 yards across his career.
