Video clips from the 2021 Kanye West deposition is absolutely insane and just watching it made me crazy enough to believe that he might actually be a genius

Kanye West has officially crossed the line into a realm so far beyond the rest of us that I’m starting to question my own sanity.

After watching snippets of his deposition from 2021, I’ve come to a conclusion: Kanye is so far gone, he’s actually making me think he might be a genius too.

Don’t even Google it. Kanye West is probably not the richest black man in America by any margin but none of that even matters at this point. This is the genius that gave the world The College Dropout, Late Resignation, Graduation, My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy, Yeezus, and The Life of Pablo so even now he gets a pass.

Kanye West redefined what music could sound like and dropped multiple iconic albums that are considered some of the undisputed, greatest records of all time.

And now? He’s out here refusing to confirm if anyone is in the room with him because of chairs and claiming to be the richest Black man in American history and for whatever reason, I believe ever word he’s saying.

It’s wild to see just how disconnected from reality Kanye has become (along with myself) over the better part of the last decade. But maybe this was always going to happen. Imagine being so brilliant—so far ahead of your peers—that you can’t even comprehend how to communicate with regular people anymore. It literally hurts my brain even thinking about it.

It’s like he’s trying to explain quantum physics to a room full of third graders while the rest of us are just sitting there asking, “Hey, so about that Yeezy tech lawsuit…”

Imagine your brain works so fast, so creatively, and so differently from the rest of the world that human interaction becomes borderline impossible. The idea hurts my brain just thinking about it, and I’m not even Kanye. Wild.

The full deposition is set to air on Interrogation Raw on A&E the day after Christmas, and you better believe I’ll be watching. Kanye West, once a global icon for art and innovation, now reduced to dropping one-liners that are somehow both unhinged and weirdly brilliant.

I don’t know if this makes him a genius or just plain nuts, but I do know one thing: Kanye’s world is one we’ll never fully understand. Maybe that’s for the best.
