Injury Report: Jalen Hurts misses practice, Kenny Pickett says he’s good to play vs. Dallas
Well, it looks like it’ll be Kenny Pickett in Kelly Green against the Cowboys.
Starting QB Jalen Hurts missed Thursday’s practice as he remains in concussion protocol, which isn’t a good sign for his availability on Sunday.
Players usually have to practice in a limited fashion by Thursday to clear protocol in time. Hurts has yet to throw this week.
Backup QB Kenny Pickett, who’s been dealing with a rib injury, was a full participant and says he’s good to play vs. Dallas.

Will be wearing extra padding for Sunday.

Pickett completed 14/24 passes for 143 yards, a touchdown, and an interception in relief of Hurts last week. He did just enough to win, but an uncharacteristic drop from DeVonta Smith cost Philadelphia the game.
The Eagles scored just six points off four turnovers with Pickett in the game, however. An extra week of preparation with the first-team offense should help Pickett along.
The wait continues for those who want to see second-year QB Tanner McKee get extended action (myself included).
