The team had an open spot after waiving QB Ian Book earlier this week and decided to fill it with another Bulldog. Can you really blame them?
Although Cine was a first-round pick back in 2022, he’s seen very little playing time in the NFL. Cine faced a challenging rookie season due to a compound leg fracture. He played in seven games last year and made a single regular-season appearance for the Bills. Primarily contributing on special teams, Cine has recorded one career tackle to date.
Having already been on two different teams as a 2022 first-round selection isn’t a great sign, but given Philly’s love for Georgia football, this move isn’t surprising at all.
I doubt he’ll see much playing time aside from special teams.
