Per multiple reports, this is nothing to worry about. Brown is still expected to play on Sunday — this rest day is apparently part of the plan to get him 100% ready for the postseason.
The Eagles obviously need everyone at full strength for Sunday. While the Packers are reeling — having lost their final two regular season games — they’re an 11-win playoff team with a track record of knocking off higher seeds.
Remember how they dismantled Dallas last year during the Wildcard round? This is the same exact situation — a seventh seed traveling to the second seed for round one.
Obviously, the Eagles are better equipped to handle the Packers than the Cowboys were last season. Nevertheless, having AJ Brown fully healthy is invaluable to the success of the team’s offense.
