Who are The Maryland Food Boyz and why are they taking over the food review and podcasting industry?
The Maryland Food Boyz – Finally, the podcasting world is about to be revolutionized for the better thanks to the culinary geniuses, The Maryland Food Boyz.
Now you’re probably wondering what this has to do with Philadelphia sports, the Eagles in the NFC Championship Game, or really any type of content that you typically see on The Liberty Line. The answer is easy: absolutely nothing.
The Maryland Food Boyz are a group of professional food reviewers and podcasters, that go by the names Chub Perm, McLovin’, No Name, and Nonchalant. They are absolutely ELECTRIC on social media and whenever they have a camera and/or microphone in front of their faces, as they navigate through new foods and really, life in a series of clips posted on Instagram.
Honestly, I can’t even tell you how many times I watched the Celery Debate.
It’s a problem but I simply cannot get enough. I don’t know why I am unable to embed their actual IG posts to this article so I’m going to rip and post them? The Maryland Food Boyz have everything on lockdown? We’ll get back to that later. Right now, just make sure you’re following them because it’s “can’t miss content”.
The Maryland Food Boyz: Mclovin Tries Celery, Vegetables For The First Time TEASER
Side Note: As someone in the comments indicated, true MD Foodie Boyz fans know that Chub Perm was behind the scenes calling the shots and that Mclovin wouldn’t have even dreamed of touching celery until Chub Perm orchestrated this entire thing. A true professional and honestly, downright mastermind.
Overall, the comments on these videos are absolute gold. The fact that the MD Foodie Boyz have built such a loyal audience is admirable. Take Instagram user andrewmilwit for example:
“Man oh man, the day has finally come. McLovin is about to try celery. For years, he’s avoided the crunchy green stalks, dismissing them as a boring snack. But soon, something is different. Maybe it’s the peer pressure from chub perm and no name who rave about the healthy snack, or maybe it’s the curiosity that’s finally getting the better of him. Either way, he’s about to hold a piece of celery in his hand, eyeing it with suspicion. He’s not sure what to expect, the crispness, the slight bitterness, but soon enough, he’ll take that first bite and see if it lives up to the hype. Could it be that McLovin is finally going to like celery? He’s not sure yet, but he’s about to find out.”
Talk about setting the stage. Check that post here.
The Maryland Food Boyz: Did Someone Say Celery?
You want to know the best Fast Food options out there? The Maryland Food Boyz have you covered. Vegetables? Sure, they are trying every single one of them. Bonus reviews? More than you could ever imagine.
Credit to The Maryland Food Boyz. They are dominating the food review game and Chub Perm even got some fresh bling in one of their more recent posts. Make sure to throw some shads on or you’ll be at risk of being completely blinded by the diamonds he’s rocking.
Andddd another elite comment to paint the scene:
“McLovin seriously improving his game recently… No Name attempts to assert his dominance with the “bling”, immediately gets mogged by McLovin’s louder, more assured “BLING,” allows his leader and CEO Chub Perm to show off said bling (see 48 Laws of Power, “never outshine the master”) then finalizes his stance on the new jewelry with a final, triumphant BLING. True masterclass by McLovin 👏”
What an interesting dynamic unfolding right before our eyes. Mclovin, who just tried vegetables for the first time, feeding (pun intended) right into the villain role. All of the sudden he’s the one bullying Chub Perm in front of his co-hosts, based solely off his newly acquired “glow up”.
Incredible.
We’ll have to wait and see how this develops in more recent episodes. I for one, have notifications on and will keep you posted with any updates.
