Let’s Hunt: Delaware River Port Authority throws up a sick Eagles’ banner over the Walt Whitman Bridge

I can’t believe we have to wait another week for the Philadelphia Eagles to beat the crap out of the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl LIX, I’m going to run out of things to write about.

In case you’ve been living under a rock, the Philadelphia Eagles will face the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl LIX on February 9th in New Orleans. All around the Delaware Valley, authorities are making damn sure that you’re prepared with banners and green lights across city buildings and bridges.

Delaware River Port Authority throws up a ‘Let’s Hunt’ banner over the Walt Whitman Bridge

If you’ve been anywhere near the Delaware River lately, you’ve seen it: the 40-foot banner on the Walt Whitman Bridge that’s got “Let’s Hunt” plastered across it like a battle cry.

If we are going to be charged $6 to travel from New Jersey back to Philly, then I expect to see banners EVERYWHERE. Put that money to good use, ya know?

Side Note: Let’s Hunt has been getting a bad wrap but I completely disagree. It’s a million times better than “It’s A Philly Thing” and you cannot tell me otherwise.

The Benjamin Franklin Bridge is lit — literally.

Nothing says “we’re ready to roll” like seeing the skyline lit up in green. It’s like the whole city is locked-in and coincidentally, the Benjamin Franklin Bridge is where I’ll be if the Eagles allow Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs “Three-Peat” in NOLA.

Walt Whitman Bridge: The Unsung Hero of Game Days

Shoutout Walt Whit. I was a big Leaves of Grass guy but with the Benny Frank always stealing the spotlight, it’s great to see this bridge finally get some recognition. The Walt Whitman Bridge is the unsung hero on Game Days for South Jersey Eagles’ fans trying to get to The Linc.

The Saquon Backwards Hurdle was a nice touch. Grab a t-shirt in the shop.

Snag a FLY SAQUON t-shirt right here. We’ll have it delivered before the Super Bowl.

Hang The Banners and Light Up The Skies

Shoutout DRPA for entering the mix with Super Bowl preparations. Next week is going to feel like an eternity. Anything helps get through a dead week of sports, right?
