Sad: Paul George’s YouTube hustle outpaces his scoring in 76ers tenure
The state of the 76ers is embarrassing at the moment. Paul George isn’t the main culprit, but he’s certainly contributed to it since joining the team this offseason.
Since joining the Sixers, Paul George has played in 32 of the team’s 51 games. He is averaging 16.9 points per game on 42.5% shooting from the field. In those 32 games, he’s made 197 field goals. Pretty shitty numbers for a guy who was supposed to lift this team over the top. We should’ve known it wasn;t going to work out, because when does anything work out for the Sixers?
What’s even more embarrassing about these stats — George has uploaded more podcast clips to Youtube (228) than he’s made field goals this season.
Paul George, you might as well just retire at this point, man

I’ll be honest, I don’t think I’ve watched a single Sixers game start to finish this season. I have no interest in them anymore, and this is the type of stuff that makes me feel validated.
Paul George has been useless, Joel Embiid barely plays, and while Tyrese Maxey is always exciting, the vibes around the team are so bad that even he can’t revitalize them.
Who knows what the future holds for this team. And honestly, who cares. The Eagles are about to play in the Super Bowl — that’s all that really matters right now.
