Eagles beating the Chiefs into pulp draws record average of 127.7 million viewers; most-watched game and halftime show in history
For weeks leading up to Super Bowl LIX, all we heard was how nobody wanted to watch this game. The Chiefs? People were sick of them. The Eagles? Apparently, nobody wanted to see them back either. And yet…

127.7 MILLION VIEWERS
A new record for the most-watched Super Bowl of all time.
Streaming numbers racked up 14.5 million on digital, 13.6 million on Tubi alone.
The game was a blowout, and people still stuck around.
The highest peak—137.7 million viewers—came in the second quarter, when the Chiefs still had a glimmer of hope.
Kendrick Lamar’s halftime show, which was absolutely terrible, brought in 133.5 million viewers—the most-watched halftime show in history.
Funny how that worked out, right?
127.7 Million Viewers Watched The Following:
- Cooper DeJean’s pick-six on his birthday—his first career interception, and he took it to the house on the biggest stage possible.
- Jalen Hurts dropping dimes like a Vegas high roller, including that absolute moonshot to DeVonta Smith.
- The Eagles’ defensive line treating Patrick Mahomes like a crash test dummy, sacking him six times without even blitzing once.
- A total trench-dominance masterclass from the Eagles’ offensive line, steamrolling the Chiefs up front and setting the tone from the first snap.

Be honest—how many of you hate-watched? How many of you tuned in just to see the Chiefs go down in flames? How many of you were hoping the Eagles would somehow implode so you could get your jokes off on Twitter?
Well at least we all know you watched, right? If you’re going to be part of history, might as well dress for the occasion.
Fly Eagles Fly, baby. Plenty more Super Bowl’s to watch with this dynasty in the making.
