Celtics fans have a meltdown, including Jayson Tatum’s trainer, who blasts the NBA for awarding Stephen Curry the 2025 All-Star Game MVP
Steph Curry just proved he’s still the modern king of the NBA All-Star Game. The Warriors star grabbed his second Kobe Bryant All-Star MVP trophy after leading Shaq’s OGs to a blowout 41-25 win over Chuck’s Global Stars in the new mini-tournament format.
But, of course, another year, another All-Star Game, another round of Celtics fans foaming at the mouth over a Jayson Tatum “snub.” This time, they’re all bent out of shape because Stephen Curry—the greatest shooter to ever pick up a basketball—dropped an absolute masterclass in the 2025 NBA All-Star Game and walked away with the MVP.
Let’s set the scene: Despite Chuck’s Global Stars rolling out a lineup of young guns ready to claim the NBA throne, it was Shaq’s OGs who took them to school. The vets dismantled Sir Charles’ squad 41-25 in the final after handling Candace Parker’s Rising Stars 42-35 in the semis. And leading the charge? None other than Steph Freakin’ Curry—36 years old, still dancing on defenders, still making it rain from the logo like it’s 2016.
Now, apparently, Tatum’s trainer and Celtics fans think their boy got robbed. The argument? He put up a game-high 15 points in the final, along with 4 rebounds and 2 assists (which, to be clear, is one fewer assist than James Harden, of all people). Respect to JT, but let’s be real—this is an All-Star Game, not a stat-padding contest.
Celtics fans and Jayson Tatum’s trainer cry over All-Star MVP
LOL… NBA fucks JT out of another one!

Curry was out there making history, proving that Father Time has zero control over him. He had 12 points, 4 boards, and 2 dimes, but more importantly, he owned the moment. The energy, the highlights, the iconic shots—he was the story of the game. And guess what? That’s what MVPs do. Not to mention all eyes were on him, given the fact that he was playing in front of the home crowd and everyone around the world knew he was gunning for that MVP.
Let’s keep it real, Celtics fans
You see, Celtics fans wouldn’t understand this because they swear Tatum is the modern Kobe Bryant, when in reality he’s much closer to Paul Pierce. Which is fine, that is still a great player to be compared to. But again, you just simply have to stop forcing this guy down our throats.
The NBA Playoffs last season and Finals for that matter proved he’s not even the alpha dog on his own team. That would be Jaylen Brown he went out there and won both the Finals MVP and Eastern Conference Finals MVP.
So while the NBA All-Star Game is a much less important stage, especially in regards to the history books, this was quite amusing to me as I see Celtics fans all over the timeline cry that their “hero” Jayson Tatum lost yet another awards race.
