De’Vondre Campbell continues to crash out on Twitter over his refusal to play for San Francisco 49ers

About two months ago, De’Vondre Campbell refused to play for the San Francisco 49ers during a 12-6 to the LA Rams. We haven’t heard much from him since — until Friday.

Niners fans and NFL fans alike have been in De’Vondre Campbell’s replies for awhile now, looking for answers on why he quit on his team. And it appears he’s had enough, going full-blown crash out on Twitter for the whole world to see.

Here’s the thing about fans — none of us care about how much money you make. We know you’re rich. And because we all know you’ve accumulated generational wealth by playing a sport, the least we ask of you is to suit up and actually give a shit.

Campbell clearly doesn’t get that.

As a professional athlete, when you start to flaunt your money and tell people you’re rich, it typically means you have nothing else to say. Your quiver of arguments is empty and you’re resorting to talking down to us common folk. Campbell isn’t doing himself any favors here, obviously, and he probably doesn’t care about that.

He can talk about his money and how he doesn’t have to play if he doesn’t want to like a child all he wants. No one is going to remember who he is in a year. He’ll never play a snap of football again and will probably hook up with Antonio Brown in under a year to join CTESPN.

Congrats, De’Vondre Campbell, you did it. You embarrassed yourself not once, but twice in under three months. Quite the accomplishment. No one in the NFL is going to miss you.
