WATCH: Skip Bayless stuns fans by wearing Eagles’ Jalen Hurts jersey as he cuts an epic rant against Jerry Jones and the Cowboys

Look, if you told me a year ago that I’d be writing a blog about Skip Bayless with anything other than pure, unfiltered hatred in my heart, I would’ve checked myself into a hospital. But here we are. The world is upside down, and somehow, someway, I find myself respecting—maybe even liking—Skip Bayless. And honestly? It’s not that crazy. Outside of his absolutely delusional Cowboys fandom, I’ve always thought Skip had solid sports takes. The man knows how to argue, he knows how to sell a debate, and more often than not, he’s entertaining as hell.

With that said, it appears as if ole’ Skip has finally seen the light.

If you know anything about Skip, you know his entire existence has been one long, obnoxious, never-ending love letter to the Dallas Cowboys. He’s ridden harder for that fraudulent franchise than Jerry Jones himself. He’s spent decades talking about “America’s Team” like they’re the gold standard, when in reality, they’ve been nothing but a glorified comedy act since the mid-’90s.

With that said, Skip Bayless has never been shy about losing his mind over the Cowboys, but this time? This time, he took it to a whole new level. In a four-minute meltdown on his X account, the former FS1 host went full desperation mode—ditching his beloved Cowboys jersey for an Eagles jersey, all in some wild attempt to flip the script for both teams.

Skip Bayless stuns the football world

To be fair, Skip has always backed Jalen Hurts—makes sense, considering Hurts spent a season at Oklahoma, his favorite college team, before turning into an NFL superstar. But even with that context, watching Skip belt out the Eagles fight song in public? That’s got to be rock bottom for his Cowboys loyalty.

The thing is, I don’t even know where to start with this video Skip posted. It’s an absolute gem. I couldn’t stop laughing as he tried to pull a Jalen Hurts jersey over the Cowboys hat he was already wearing. Or better yet—as a Jordan fan myself—the fact that he was already rocking those “Lucky Green” Jordan 13s before even hitting record.

Skip’s Last-Ditch Effort: A New Luck Strategy? Probably not

Whether this new lucky charm actually changes the fortunes of both the Cowboys and Eagles in 2025 remains to be seen. But one thing is clear—Skip Bayless is downright desperate to see Dallas return to the Super Bowl for the first time in three decades. And honestly, I can’t even blame him at this point. The humiliation that franchise has put him through is probably far worse than the fact that he just went as far as to wear his bitter rival’s jersey.
