Report: Eagles bring back 2018 draft pick on one-year deal

The Philadelphia Eagles are bringing back a familiar face along their offensive line.

According to The Inquirer’s Jeff McLane, OL Matt Pryor is returning on a one-year deal.

Pryor, 30, was a sixth-round pick by Philadelphia in 2018 and appeared in 27 games with ten starts. Entering the final year of his rookie contract, Pryor was traded to the Colts for a 2022 sixth-round pick.

Pryor started 15 games for Chicago last season, giving up seven sacks as part of an offensive line that got Caleb Williams decimated.

He has experience at both guard and tackle positions, playing in 1,005 snaps last year across RG, RT, and LG. Pryor’s versatility could make him a solid depth piece under Jeff Stoutland.
