Bryce Harper is unphased by Nationals fans booing him
It’s been seven years since Bryce Harper has suited up for the Washington Nationals. Nevertheless, the Washington faithful still boo him every single time he comes back to Nationals Park.
Bryce was asked about the warm reception he receives when playing in Washington. As expected, he’s unphased by the booing.

“The fans know,” Bryce Harper told reporters. “I love my relationship with [the workers] a lot. Going through the tunnel and talking to everybody, they still say they love me. They know who I am, they know exactly what type of person I am. With the fans… it’s part of it.”
Booing a player who once played for your team comes with the territory when you’re as good as Harper. It’s a compliment, really.
The Phillies took Game 1 over Washington 7-3. Harper and his team will face the Nats again Saturday afternoon at 4:05 in Washington.
