Bryson Stott spent an entire at-bat last night trying to hit one specific Braves’ usher with foul balls
Somewhere in foul territory at Truist Park, a Braves usher probably has some significant issues with Bryson Stott.
During the ninth inning of Thursday night’s Phillies-Braves game, Stott stepped to the plate and started launching foul balls at an usher standing in a section down the third base line.
Stott managed to foul off four consecutive pitches toward the same section, each one inching closer to the unlucky usher who was just trying to do her job.

Pitch 1: Direct Hit
With the count at 1-2, Stott got a piece of a high sinker and sent it into the third-base seats — right where the usher was standing. She tried to get out of the way but ended up running directly into the path of the ball, taking it square in the leg.
Fans in the area rushed over to check on her, and the broadcast caught the aftermath, showing a small crowd forming as she took a moment to regroup.
Pitch 2: Déjà Vu
Next pitch? Same spot. Another foul ball in her direction. If Stott was aiming for her, he was locked in. If he wasn’t, the baseball gods were clearly messing with this woman.
Pitch 3: Now It’s Personal
At this point, T-Mac and Ben Davis were in full-on disbelief.
“She’s gonna need hazard pay,” Davis quipped as the third foul ball zipped her way. The usher, clearly over it, turned toward Stott and shouted: “Come on!”
Pitch 4: “She’s Gonna Go Down the Tunnel”
Of course, Stott wasn’t done. He fouled off a fourth straight pitch to the exact same section, prompting McCarthy to joke, “She’s gonna go down the tunnel, I think.”
Honestly? Can’t blame her.
Bryson Stott didn’t record a hit in that at-bat, but he somehow managed to leave a mark — literally and figuratively. Baseball’s weird and sometimes, one poor usher ends up in a one-man foul ball war she never signed up for.
