As a braindead Eagles fan, I obviously loved seeing Redick repping the Birds. But let’s be real — how weird is it that the Los Angeles Lakers head coach is out here wearing Kelly green gear? When did Birds merch become a fashion statement?

Is Kelly green Birds apparel the new Yankees snapback? Kinda feels like it. Sure, maybe Redick picked up some Philly pride during his time with the Sixers, but still — seeing the Lakers coach in that hoodie just feels off.

That kind of stuff doesn’t fly in Philly. Nick Sirianni only wears Eagles, Phillies, Sixers, or Flyers gear. That’s it. Can you imagine the brain rot WIP would unleash if Sirianni ever showed up to a press conference in a Lakers shirt? They dragged him for bringing his kids to a press conference last season — people would lose their damn minds if he wore anything that wasn’t Philly sports-related.
