Miguel Rojas on the Mound – The Dodgers were getting absolutely torched by the Cubs on Saturday night. We’re talking full-blown tire fire — a 16-0 smackdown in front of a stunned (and eventually emptied) Dodger Stadium crowd.

While the night was an unmitigated disaster for LA’s pitching staff, Rojas somehow managed to turn the final two innings into performance art.

With the Dodgers already trailing by 11 runs, Dave Roberts handed the ball to Rojas — yes, the veteran infielder — to mop up the mess. He obliged, tossing the final two innings and giving up five more runs in the process.

Forget the box score for a second. What Rojas did during his outing was the most entertaining thing to happen to the Dodgers all night.

Miguel Rojas started impersonating the entire rotation.

Yoshinobu Yamamoto’s windup? Rojas nailed it. Clayton Kershaw’s iconic leg kick and pause? Hit it perfectly. Roki Sasaki’s mechanics? Spot-on. Landon Knack’s delivery? Yep, that too.

Honestly, the comedy was necessary. LA had just given up 15 runs after Roki Sasaki exited a 1-0 game. By the time Rojas took the mound, it wasn’t about strategy or score — it was about surviving the final outs and making the best of it.

And hey, Rojas did. His ERA might sit at a gloriously ugly 22.50, but his vibes were Hall of Fame-worthy. He gave the fans something to smile about. He gave the dugout something to laugh at. And he gave baseball Twitter a moment it desperately needed.

Sure, the Dodgers got boat-raced. But at least Rojas reminded everyone that if you’re going down, you might as well have fun doing it.
