Caitlin Clark has a Déjà vu record-breaking moment and her teammates hilariously roast her over it
Caitlin Clark returned to Carver-Hawkeye Arena on Sunday night like a rockstar coming back to their hometown stage — and naturally, she put on a show. In just her second preseason game with the Indiana Fever, Clark pulled up from 36 feet and nailed a three that sent the entire building into orbit.
Same spot where she broke the NCAA scoring record. Different jersey. Same outcome: the stuff of true legends.

With the Fever absolutely demolishing Brazil, Clark decided to crank up the highlight reel late in the third quarter. She casually launched a bomb from well beyond the arc, and it splashed like it was drawn up in practice.
Fans went nuts. Carver-Hawkeye erupted. But when Clark got back to the bench?
Crickets — at least from her teammates.

The place was clearly losing its mind, but Clark’s teammates took the chance to clown her anyway. That kind of banter is exactly what you want to see — relaxed vibes, team chemistry, and everyone having a blast while putting on an absolute clinic. Of course, it came from new teammate Sophie Cunningham who was a great offseason addition to the Fever for both her versatile skillset, as well as her locker room energy/experience.
Clark’s Already in Midseason Form
Clark dropped 16 points on 6-of-10 shooting, draining four threes, and looked every bit the generational talent we all expect her to be. The Fever smoked Brazil 108-44, but the real headline was the fact that Clark is already launching from NBA range like it’s nothing — and having fun while doing it.

If this is preseason Caitlin Clark, the league better buckle up.
