Warriors fans makeout

WATCH: Warriors fans opt for a makeout sesh instead of watching their team lose to Anthony Edwards and the T-Wolves

Gotta be honest, I really don’t care that the Warriors were getting absolutely cooked by Anthony Edwards and the Timberwolves or that the the offense was non-existent without Steph Curry in the lineup. If you’re trying to salvage something from a blowout loss at Chase Center, what I saw in the lower bowl last night was downright inappropriate.

We all saw it — the Warriors fans just a few rows back from the court, going full rom-com mode with a makeout session right in the middle of a playoff crowd.

Warriors Fans. No shame. No awareness.

Can’t happen, Warriors fans. This isn’t high school prom. This is an NBA playoff game. You’re a dozen rows from the hardwood in a sold-out arena, with cameras rolling and thousands of people around you, what are you doing?

While the Warriors might’ve been getting their teeth kicked in on the scoreboard, that doesn’t give fans the green light to turn your $1,200 seats into a PG-13 makeout booth.

It’s one thing to kiss your date. Cool, cute, fine. But this happening while the Warriors are losing at home to the T-Wolves to go down in the series 2-1 is simply unacceptable.

We’re not asking you to stand and be locked in for four quarters. But maybe — just maybe — save the kissing for after the final buzzer.

If you can’t wait, then just leave? It’s not like you’re watching the game anyways. These two looked old enough to know better than to act like they are in dimly lit bar instead of right in the camera frame of an NBA playoff game that’s broadcasting to a national audience.

Warriors fans had it tough enough last night without being forced to witness Game 3 turn into an off-brand Bachelor episode in the lower bowl.

Anthony Edwards dropped 36, the Wolves stole another win at Chase, and now Golden State’s one game away from watching the rest of this series from Cabo. No one needed a PDA sideshow on top of it.

So shoutout to those two for making headlines, I guess. The playoffs are intense. Emotions run high. But the Chase Center ain’t makeout point. Get it together.
