Dez Bryant foolishly gives Eagles bulletin board material ahead of season opener against the Cowboys

Former Cowboys WR Dez Bryant decided to log back onto Twitter on Monday and immediately embarrassed himself in front of the entire football world — but more importantly, he picked a fight he has no business starting with Philadelphia Eagles fans.

After it was announced that the Eagles will open the 2025 NFL season against the Dallas Cowboys on Thursday Night Football, the washed-up wideout chimed in with this gem of a tweet:

Dez Bryant said he’ll be ‘smoking an Eagles pack’ Week 1? Bro, you’ve been retired for how long and you still wake up every morning thinking about the Philadelphia Eagles.

You’re not smoking anything but delusion. And ‘merch?’ What are we doing here, Dez? You’re pushing T-shirts like a Facebook dad while the Eagles are raising a Super Bowl banner in front of Jerry Jones and your little brother Dak. And while we’re on the topic of t-shirts, nobody does the merchandise game like we do here at TheLibertyLine.

Dez Bryant wasn’t finished making wild Eagles-Cowboys claims on Twitter

Ohhh okay, so that’s the Cowboys’ master plan. Stop Saquon and everything will be fine? Hate to break it to you, Dez, but that exact strategy got the back-to-back champion Chiefs cooked in the Super Bowl.

Let me remind you: Saquon didn’t even need to rush for 100 yards — he just needed to exist. His presence alone kept the defense honest, opened up the RPO, and gave Jalen Hurts and the Eagles offense all the breathing room they needed to slice KC to pieces.

Maybe Worry About Dak, Not Saquon’s Middle Name

The Cowboys haven’t won anything meaningful since Dez actually played. Maybe worry less about Barkley’s middle name and more about Dak Prescott throwing hospital balls to CeeDee Lamb while Jalen Carter is sitting in his lap.

September 4th. Banner night. And you’re bringing tweets to a dogfight.
