Nick Sirianni Contract Extension

Nick Sirianni gets a well-earned contract extension after Super Bowl LIX victory

The Eagles just made it official — Nick Sirianni isn’t going anywhere.

Fresh off shaved head and a 15-1 stretch that led right into a Super Bowl LIX beatdown of the Kansas City Chiefs, the Birds have extended head coach Nick Sirianni.

No terms yet, but this isn’t some ceremonial “we’ll revisit this later” type deal. Nick Sirianni is The Guy in Philly, and now he’s got the security to match.

What a rollercoaster…

Back in September, the season opened with whispers that Sirianni and Jalen Hurts weren’t on the same page. A 2-2 start had everyone ready to storm the NovaCare Complex.

Then came that awkward Week 5 press conference, where Sirianni brought his kids up on stage and used them as cover fire while the Philly media circled like vultures. The vibes were off. The questions were louder than the answers.

Then the switch flipped.

The Eagles ripped off 15 wins in 16 games, steamrolled through the NFC, and blew the doors off the Chiefs in the Super Bowl, 40-22. Sirianni out-coached Andy Reid on the biggest stage. Jalen Hurts went nuclear. The defense mauled Patrick Mahomes.

It was a statement—and now it’s rightfully being rewarded.

Nick Sirianni’s style isn’t for everyone. He’s loud and overly-emotional. He chirps back at fans and runs like a wild man up and down the sidelines. The only thing that matters however, is winning football games and as we all witnessed last season, Sirianni does that at the highest levels.

What a turnaround. From the hot seat to a cold Lombardi. Good stuff from Nick Sirianni and credit the Eagles for getting this out of the way in May so we don’t have to run those storylines all summer.
