According to the FS1 engagement farmer, Brock Purdy “does everything better than Jalen Hurts.”

That’s not just wrong—it’s aggressively stupid. It’s a take built in a lab specifically to piss off Eagles fans, because that’s the only conceivable purpose it could serve.

Jalen Hurts is a better quarterback than Brock Purdy.

Period. Full stop. Not debatable. I feel stupid even writing this because that’s how far apart Hurts and Purdy are on a football field.

For the peanut-sized, braindead idiots on social media…

Jalen Hurts is a Super Bowl MVP who ended the Chiefs’ dynasty, led the Eagles to two Super Bowl appearances, and is the engine behind one of the most dominant offenses in football. He’s a dual-threat weapon who terrifies defenses and elevates the entire operation.

Brock Purdy? Great story for 49ers fans, I guess. For the rest of us, Brock Purdy is nothing more than an overpaid system quarterback.

You can claim that he makes good reads, gets the ball out quick, doesn’t mess it up too often but let’s not act like this dude is reinventing the position.

Purdy a slightly upgraded Jimmy Garoppolo with a deeper ball and even that is debatable. The Niners’ offense is designed to make any quarterback look competent. You could throw 35-year-old Samly “Sleeves” Bradford in there and Kyle Shanahan would still scheme up 27 points.

Jalen Hurts does things that Purdy can’t. He’s more athletic, more physical, more dangerous in short yardage, and has a clutch gene that Purdy simply hasn’t shown at the highest level.
