WATCH: Cooper DeJean went CRAZY with Gillie at the Roots Picnic Celebrity Basketball Game

Is it just me, or is Cooper DeJean literally everywhere these days?

Every time I scroll through my feed, there he is again — on a podcast set, sitting courtside at a game, back home in Iowa, on the field at OTAs, or now apparently posterizing people at the Roots Picnic celebrity basketball game.

I genuinely don’t know how he finds the time. The man is moving around the country like he’s got a private jet on retainer.

Cooper DeJean is recording a weekly podcast, doing appearances, training with the Eagles, flying back and forth across the country, and still showing up in Philly throwing down dunks like he’s been running pickup every day at LA Fitness.

Must be nice when you’ve got Super Bowl MVP juice flowing through your veins after taking an interception off Patrick Mahomes to the house on the biggest stage in sports.

That’s what happens when you become a legend overnight. Once you literally change the outcome of the Super Bowl, life moves a little different for you. Suddenly, you’re everywhere — and Philly fans can’t get enough of it.

Cooper DeJean wasn’t out there just jogging around in sneakers and getting cardio. He was hooping. The highlights from the Roots Picnic game are absurd.

The man finished through contact, threw down dunks, and looked like he could give the Sixers a solid 10-12 minutes off the bench right now. Frankly, I’d rather watch him than half the guys that suited up in that disaster of a season.

This city loves a grinder, and Cooper DeJean has quickly become one of Philly’s favorite athletes — not just because of the Super Bowl pick-six, but because he fits here. Blue-collar, versatile, plays with an edge, and apparently can throw it down on a basketball court too.

At this point, I wouldn’t be shocked to see him show up at Citizens Bank Park, mash a homer in batting practice, and shag fly balls like an All-Star center fielder. He’s everywhere. He’s that guy right now.

When you’re the dude who picked off Mahomes in the Super Bowl and took it to the house? Yeah, the world kind of opens up for you. Keep doing your thing, Coop. Philly’s loving every second of it.
