Phillies remaining schedule and record prediction at the All-Star break
The Philadelphia Phillies are currently 42-29, trailing the New York Mets by 2.5 games in the National League East standings. Here’s where the team stands with 25 games left until the 2025 MLB All-Star break.
Current Record: 42–29
Games Remaining Before Break: 25
Trail Mets by: 2.5 games
Phillies remaining schedule and record prediction at the All-Star break:
Phillies at Marlins (4) – The Marlins are bottom-dwellers with a 7.00+ ERA from Sandy Alcantara and an awful bullpen. Phillies should take 3 of 4. Prediction: 3–1
Phillies vs Mets (3) – This is a big swing series. The Mets are in first, so it’ll be tight. Call it a competitive series with the Phillies taking 2 of 3 at home. Prediction: 2–1
Phillies at Astros (3) – The Astros are having a down year, but it’s still a tough road trip. Split the difference. Prediction: 1–2
Phillies at Braves (3) – Atlanta is beatable, especially with the Phillies’ pitching depth. Philly steals 2 of 3. Prediction: 2–1
Phillies vs Padres (3) – Home series against a flaky Padres team. Let’s say 2 of 3. Prediction: 2–1
Phillies vs Reds (3) – Cincinnati can hit, but they’re too young and inconsistent. Phillies sweep or take 2—play it safe with 2 of 3. Prediction: 2–1
Phillies at Giants (3) – The Giants are hanging around but are average overall. Phillies might drop a tight one here. Prediction: 1–2
Phillies at Padres (3) – This series goes right into the break. West Coast road trips are never easy, and the Padres will want revenge. Prediction: 1–2
Projection Before All-Star Break:
Total Games: 25
Projected Record: 14–11
New Overall Record: 56–40
I absolutely hate ending the first half of the MLB season on a West Coast trip for six games. That’s always tough and it never works out in the Phillies’ favor.
Regardless, if the Phillies do finish 14-11, it should keep them within a game or two of the Mets, maybe even vault them into first depending how New York fares.
Either way, the Phillies will be in striking distance heading into the second half with a lot to play for down the stretch.
