Phillies Scorebook Fans Dad Trolls

There’s a special place in hell for anyone who talked trash on this Phillies fan keeping a clean scorebook

How much of a loser do you have to be to talk trash to a guy quietly keeping a clean scorebook at a Phillies game?

Think about it. You walk into Citizens Bank Park, see a dad minding his own business, completely dialed in, tracking every pitch, logging strikeouts, grounders, maybe even a rare 3-6-1 double play and that’s the guy you decide to chirp?

How is someone like that your villain of the night? Come on, man. We need to be better.

How could you talk trash on this Phillies fan keeping a clean scorebook?

My dad is the sweetest man in the whole world and every Father’s Day I get him Phillies tickets and every year he keeps score in the book. He has done this since he was little and he loves it. To the jerk who walked by and made fun of him, I hope you get what you deserve. #phillies #philadelphiaphillies #baseball #citizenbankpark

That is absolutely ridiculous and explains everything you need to know about the character and general baseball IQ of anyone who was chirping at this legend keeping a clean book.

I hope someone stood up in defense of this Phillies fan. Whatever depressed, sad, moron that was doing this deserves a lifetime ban from Citizens Bank Park.

Keeping your own book at a baseball game isn’t just cool, it’s an elite sign of respect and the purest way to watch a ballgame.

Clearly, anyone with an issue is incapable of understanding the joy of shading in a diamond after a double or scribbling down a backwards K and if that’s the case, they really shouldn’t even be allowed inside the stadium.

There’s a million other things that people could be doing at the ballpark other than worrying about what this Phillies fan was doing in his seat with nothing more than a pencil and a scorebook.

Anyone chirping our Phillies fan are the same rats who don’t know what WAR or OPS is and can’t pronounce, let alone spell Nick Castellanos if their life depended on it.

They are the same trolls that scroll through their phone during a 2-2 count and leave Citizens Bank Park in the 8th inning to “beat traffic.” These morons don’t deserve anything, let alone the opportunity to gate keep what’s cool at the ballpark.

We must protect the scorebook Phillies fans at all costs.

Next time you see someone keeping score at a Phillies game, you better nod respectfully and carry on. Or better yet, ask what app he’s using and let him hit you with a smirk and a signature dad line like “This? Just pencil and paper, bud.”
