Jason Kelce gets slammed for 4th of July post by people who just want to complain
Jason Kelce is slowly learning what it’s like to be a media icon in 2025. No longer is it just Eagles fans in the comments sections of his Instagram posts. You have Swifties, the audience of his podcast, and unfortunately, liberals.
Now, before you get all freaked out because you think this is some political article, rest assured it is not. Most of my cultural views align more with the left than the right. However, terminally online liberals are an entirely different breed.
Their entire existence relies on people knowing where they stand politically. Without likes on their virtue signaling posts, they are nothing. They live to tell people how they should feel and react to everything. And more often than not, they don’t want to persuade you to see things the way they do. They want to shame you for not being progressive enough. In some sick, twisted way, it gives them purpose.
That brings us to Jason Kelce‘s 4th of July post on Instagram, where he was crucified for the sin of being a proud American. The horror.
Jason Kelce’s post causes quite the uproar from libs
Jason Kelce’s caption reads:
“Man I love the 4th! One of the great days we all can set aside our differences in this country, and enjoy the one thing we all share in common. That we are American! Cheers to you oh beautiful America.“
Harmless, right? Wrong, you idiot.
The comments on this post range from delusional liberal propaganda to right wing, freedom fighting, God bless the USA, type of rhetoric. Both are nauseating, but let’s take a look at some of the best ones.
“Set aside differences? One party wants to feed children. The other wants to feed brown people to alligators,” one person wrote.
On that same note, “I’m not setting any differences aside. One side wants to feed school children and the other just made a concentration camp for Hispanics…”
“Unfortunately Jason this is not real life for many. They signed the worst bill for so many Americans today just to rub it in our faces. I know it’s hard to understand, but so many will suffer,” another added.
Last one, “This … what we have as a country … is nothing to be celebrated. Our immigrants and all the people standing up for them and who are fighting fascism day i and day out are to be celebrated!!”
Jason Kelce hasn’t responded to this and I honestly hope he doesn’t. Just let it die out and move on.
But if he does decide to respond to this outcry, here’s how I would craft it.
None of the commenters—left or right—actually care about the state of our country. You just want to share an opinion on something you probably don’t fully understand. And that’s fine—you have the right to speak your mind. But if you really want to advocate for your beliefs, go out and do something about it. Take action. Writing a comment on Jason Kelce’s post does nothing. Zero. Zilch. Nada. You’re just wasting time that could be spent actually helping people who need it.
I’m not a fan of the direction this country is heading, but I also know America isn’t defined by the political circus in Washington. It’s defined by the great people you interact with every day—your family, your neighbors, your co-workers. They’re the reason this country keeps moving forward. Live for them. Be kind to them. Lend a hand when needed. That’s how you live a meaningful life. That’s how you live an American life.
So put down the phone, step outside, breathe in that sweet American air, and get after it. And let Jason Kelce be—he just wants to watch fireworks and drink a beer. That’s his God-given right as an American.
